Three things matter when evaluating a private cold immersion system for a serious installation:

Precision temperature control. Consumer ice baths and basic cold tubs cannot hold a consistent temperature across sessions. The variation may seem minor — a degree or two — but it undermines the discipline of a structured practice. A serious system holds its target temperature within half a degree, indefinitely.

Filtration that does not require chemicals. Chlorine and bromine are incompatible with the experience of therapeutic cold immersion. They affect the skin. They produce an odor. They require ongoing management. UV and ozone filtration eliminates this category of problem entirely.

Aesthetics that reflect the investment. A recovery system in a private residence will be seen by the people who visit that residence. It should not look like equipment. It should look like it was chosen.
